Migrating from another app

Ally, Fidelity, Vanguard, Schwab, Marcus, SoFi, and most banks. Look for Download transactions → CSV in your account activity.

Most major banks and credit cards (Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, Amex, Discover, and more). Look for Download activity → CSV.

Wells Fargo, USAA, and banks with separate Deposits and Withdrawals columns — common with credit unions and older bank exports.

Bank of America checking and savings. Deposits are skipped automatically — only spending rows are imported. Look for Download → CSV in your transaction history.

Any CSV with date, description, and amount columns. First row must be headers.

Mint exported CSV (Date, Description, Amount, Transaction Type, Category columns). Mint shut down in March 2024 — your exported CSVs still work here. Credits are skipped automatically. Categories import as-is where they match.

You Need A Budget export (Payee, Outflow, Inflow, Category columns). Export from YNAB → All Accounts → Export. Inflows are skipped. Categories map automatically where possible.

Monarch Money export (Date, Merchant, Amount, Category columns). Export from Settings → Data → Export Transactions. Positive amounts (income) are skipped. Categories import as-is where they match.
